Brandon Jay McLaren was born on July 3, 1981, in Vancouver, Canada.
He made his acting debut in the television series Just Cause in 2002. Since then, he has appeared in numerous television shows and films, including Battlestar Galactica, Falling Skies, and The Flash.
Breakthrough Roles
McLaren gained wider recognition for his portrayal of Detective Lester Freamon in the HBO drama series The Wire. He also played a recurring role as Dr. Charles Percy in the medical drama series Chicago Med.
In 2017, McLaren joined the cast of the ABC police procedural series The Rookie as Officer Elijah Stone.
