Jalen Brunson had a game-high 22 points and five assists as the United States men's basketball team defeated Spain on Sunday, August 13, in Malaga. Mikal Bridges and Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in 12 points each as the US took control with a big fourth quarter for a 98-88 win.

The American national team entered the friendly ranked No. 2 in the world and defeated No. 1 Spain 98-88 behind an exhibition-season high 21 points from Brunson. The victory gives the US a 2-0 record in its exhibition tour of Spain, with one more game remaining on Tuesday against Argentina.
