Sharon Case is celebrating a major milestone on “The Young & the Restless” this year. The actress has been playing Sharon Newman on the CBS soap opera for 30 years, and she’s giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come for her character’s big anniversary.
“There’s going to be a lot of fun stuff,” Case told Soap Opera Digest. “We’re going to have a big party for Sharon, and there’s going to be some special guests.”
Case said that she’s particularly excited about the return of Michael Muhney, who played Adam Newman on the show from 2009 to 2014. Muhney left the show under controversial circumstances, but he’s since returned for guest appearances.
“It’s always great to have Michael back on the show,” Case said. “He’s such a talented actor, and he brings so much to the role of Adam.”
