Did You Know Tito Jackson Owned a Home in Oklahoma?
The King of Pop's Brother Had a Home in a Northeastern Oklahoma Town
Tito Jackson, brother of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, once owned a home in the small town of Wagoner, Oklahoma. The 4,000-square-foot home, which is now up for sale, was built in 1992 and features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage.
Jackson purchased the home in 1999 and lived there for several years before moving to California. The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and has a large backyard with a swimming pool and hot tub.
Jackson's Time in Oklahoma
Jackson was a frequent visitor to Oklahoma during his time as a member of the Jackson 5. The group performed several concerts in the state, including one at the Oklahoma State Fair in 1971. Jackson also spent time in Oklahoma visiting his sister, Janet, who lived in Tulsa.
In 1999, Jackson decided to purchase a home in Wagoner so that he could be closer to his sister. He lived in the home for several years before moving to California in 2003.
The Home's Current Status
The home is now up for sale for $425,000. The home has been updated since Jackson owned it, but it still retains many of its original features, such as the large backyard and swimming pool.
The home is being sold by Jackson's former wife, Delores Jackson. Delores and Tito were married from 1972 to 1993. They had three children together.
